And, each committee - in each Teacher College - has (They think.) a highly intellectual ”out-of-this-world-theory.” The question IS…Schools are failing! Where is the PhD Magic?

Your son is not a limp-wristed namby-pamby sissy…

He deserves the best coach possible IN school and IN life. But, let’s face it -- common sense has taken the back seat…Get down dirty nail-biting results are not in the picture…

WHAT IS WRONG WITH SCHOOLS? Too many administrative “want-to-be-intellectuals.”

Your School Superintendent has been reading too many books, and the wrong kind… School Administrators entertain each other with the following $10.00 words:

Read and wonder…Why? Hypothesis, postulatum, theorem, thesis, postulate, conjecturable, premise, syllogism, and many more worth less than a thin dime…

These create a wild and foolish assumption…They have no practical use in our “Give me the money now” society…You and I should never forget, capitalism created our Great country…

The last two years of High School totally ignore words that fill a dream and wallet at the same time…

Here is a sample I focus on: Confidence, courage, creativity, feelings, goals, individualism, leadership, listening…These are words he wants to kick-around…

Few parents know…intense small group discussions continue for hours with a focus on LOVE and PARENTING…Many think they can improve the art of being a parent…

He imitates you MOM as you drive home after a hard days work,

“Damn, I would make a better boss than the one I have.”

Your son will never make a pimple…unless he wants to be a better parent than the one he has…Let him try - believe in him…he will respect and love you always for your courage…

NOT one word…at the ripe old age of sixteen -- is focused on putting hard cash in your son’s pocket! Crazy? Insane? IS this U.S.A?

Profit and loss – Success and failure…IS not a High School Passion.

I can prove my education theories…I left home at the age of 14 -- dumb as a sack of hammers. But, this old boy knows how to listen…My twenty years with teenagers taught me…deep study of one word at a time IS as easy as shooting fish in a rain barrel!

The Big School Boss in your town has a PhD degree. So his thinking is naturally Academic…Simple-Tough-Result-Making decisions are not made. Politically correct school managers do not see the Big picture.

Just for a minute, think about your teenage Son…Find a way to give him a positive attitude. Joe Namath had a neat trick to keep his spirits high. When looking in the mirror: He said, “Damn, I’m getting better looking each day.”

A strong self-image can build a “Fire” that works like gangbusters…

Can you imagine the L.A. Lakers wanting to be excellent? To be excellent would be like trying to put a marsh mellow in a keyhole. No Challenge! Lakers want to blow the doors off the game. The fascination is knowing they beat the best…

Where is your Sons gutsy coach? His leader? A winners question IS…

If you don’t want to be #1 who do you want to be???

Parenting/Management/Leadership? It makes no difference if your SON IS…at HOME or WORK…

The Method…system…procedure…IS all the same.

1. Set the highest…biggest goal…ever dreamed possible..

2. Make adjustments as you manage – time, space, and material…

3. Test your success every hour of every day. Know where you are!

Your High School Superintendent has not learned to test the value of his own work. So how does he know: ”Am I kicking butt or melting into a mediocre blob?”

Listen to an expert…Mr. J.C.Penny is a good example. His life got better at home…and at work because he understood:

...The way the world works.

...Human nature.

...How to increase His value to others.

When so-called professionals have a PhD degree…They have a philosophy with no measurable results…The debate can continue forever without putting money on the table….

The truth is “professionalism” is a creative LIE…invented to increase the size of your superintendent’s paycheck. TEACHERS LEARN NEW TRICKS EVERYDAY THEY TEACH. But NOT Administrators!

What’s that quote…”Power corrupts…laziness creeps in.” Managers think they have us Fooled…Nope. A liar (If he knows truth or not.) only fools himself…

97% of the world has no use for theories on profound questions IN…ethics, metaphysics and academic fields. MOST OF US HAVE TO WORK FOR A LIVING….

THIS IS WRONG. Your School Superintendent is teaching your SON to be a doctor, lawyer, or a professional of some kind. He‘s BETRAYING your trust…let-you-down -- clearly lost sight of what your SON needs.

I have nothing against doctors, lawyers or engineers, but I do know that only 3 % of your SONS High School buddies will become professionals.

So how about the 97% of us…We don’t want to dissect frogs and argue about the price of tea in china? Who cares what happened in 1492?

The CLASSIFIED ADS want your SON to bring something to the Table. He can use…energy, enthusiasm, integrity, respect and self-respect.

His future BOSS wants to know? Are you somebody? Do you stand for something?

His GUT feelings…”If you don’t have a personality…Get One!”

Will you…

Be courteous to customers?

Listen to customers?

Act on what customers want?

It’s true…your School Superintendent wants to spoon-feed as many professional students as possible…it’s a feather in his or her cap.

But the other 97% of teenagers are ready to go to work NOW. There is a problem! The Wheels…The Big Guys who hire your SON have to teach simple skills your High School should teach…
